Our Practice
Avita MD is an independent, physician-owned primary care practice serving adults across the Bay Area. We are not part of a hospital system or corporate chain. Our founder, Dr. Patricia Sitnitsky, built this practice on a simple idea: patients deserve a doctor who knows them, tracks their health over time, and takes the time to explain what is going on. The result is concierge-level attention and whole-patient support, available to everyone we serve, with no membership fees and no concierge retainer.
We have grown to 11 providers across three locations, and that founding principle has not changed. When you come to Avita MD, your provider reads your chart before walking in. We compare your labs year over year. If you need a specialist, we handle the referral, the prior authorization, and the follow-up. We coordinate directly with El Camino Health, Stanford, and UCSF.
Our team speaks English, Spanish, Russian, Ukrainian, Cantonese, Hindi, Urdu, and Vietnamese. We accept Medicare, most major PPO plans, and HMO plans. We offer same-day and next-day appointments. Every location has on-site phlebotomy and EKG, free parking, and telehealth for established patients.
