Sarah Downum is a warm, thoughtful, and detail-oriented Physician Assistant who believes that exceptional care begins with truly listening. She is committed to making every visit collaborative and supportive, ensuring patients feel heard, respected, and confident in their care plan.
Sarah earned her B.S. in Biology from Santa Clara University and completed her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Michigan, graduating with honors. Before becoming a PA, she worked at UCSF Medical Center as a Clinical Research Coordinator, where she supported complex clinical studies and co-authored research published in the New England Journal of Medicine.
Her background combines rigorous medical training with a patient-centered approach grounded in empathy, communication, and evidence-based care. Whether she’s helping patients manage chronic conditions, address new concerns, or meet long-term wellness goals, Sarah is dedicated to providing compassionate, thorough, and accessible healthcare for individuals and families.
